A special thank you to Mr. Kwame Brown for his contribution to Entrepreneur University! We’re closer to our goal!
Entrepreneur University (E. University) is a 501-c3 Non-Profit Organization designed to teach entrepreneurial skills to youth ages 12-17, who are committed to growing their communities through small business ventures. Our mission is to build strong work ethics, create job placement, and cultivate a ‘generational wealth’ mentality.
E. University works with 100+ local entrepreneurs (the Professors), who register to teach their specialty field to enrollees (the Students) of E. University. Our featured entrepreneurs are local mechanics, cosmetologist, electricians, restaurateurs, florist, athletes and more. The session features hands-on learning, Q &A sessions, and a meal is provided. After the student completes the curriculum, we offer job placement/internships with our entrepreneurs. Our dedicated entrepreneurs also provide their actual business locations for off-site student training every quarter.
Students enroll in E. University through the website/app theeuniversity.org and register in their field(s) of choice (the Majors and Minors). They sign up for courses held at the E. University Campus, Off-Site Campuses, or Virtual campus. Upon course completion, the students earn points (the Credits) that can be applied toward gift cards, materials for their small business, prizes and more. They can also earn credits by doing charity, submitting report cards and academic awards, as well as completing a list of weekly household chores.
60% of our students are minorities of lower-income households. We gladly accept donations (the Grants). Donations will cover the meals, activities, and transportation of E. University students.
